I don't dislike adulterers per se, Merlin, although I disapprove of adultery because it's more honest to end one relationship before moving on to another. |

Well said Guinevere, This thread is about Tommy Cooper and his personal arrangements, so why mention anyone else, and in any case I don't think that finance (which we were primarily discussing) would have been, or is, an issue with the Royal Family!!!!! I don't approve or disapprove of adultery and I certainly don't have a problem with Charles and Camilla, in fact I like them, (shock horror!!) and I think they make a happy and seemingly contented couple who have done no more or less than thousands of other married people over the years, and yes 'saintly' Diana was an adulteress too and less than perfect like most of us, in case we've all forgotten that!, but I do think adultery can lead to a lot of heartache, and that a mistress in particular can find herself in a in a very vulnerable position and perhaps needs to understand that at the outset to save future disappointment!! |
