Oh dear, I seem to have blotted my copybook, I know lots of people who do the same thing and the shops haven't put a stop to it so must accept the practice. It's only if I don't need the full amount of groceries that I make up the amount and sometimes I do actually keep the clothing if I like it enough. I don't think it is dishonest. |

Good for you Sharron I would love to do it apart from the fact that the airfare would be to expensive now ! The store offer these freebies and discounts because they can afford them and use them as a "lost leader" whilst you in in there getting your free bread you will also buy butter, jam and all the rest. |

I use freebie vouchers all the time, provided they are in the newspapers that I buy anyway, and the goods are available in shops locally. Not worth buying a paper specially or using petrol to get to the next town for something free. Otherwise I take advantage of everything I can. Bits of my garden and several pots are full of freebie plants from Homebase and very nice they look too. |

I am a bit cheeky, if I have a coupon saying £5 off a forty pound shop or something like that, I buy clothing as well as groceries that I want. Then I return the clothing saying it doesn't fit or whatever, and I have the groceries in a smaller amount with the money off! |

I think it may be because we are to used to it being " when you spend £50" or some such. |

No, I took the usual three small fishes and fed the whole of Iran. There were five thousand of them. I do it all the time. |

But isn't Iran a long way to go for a loaf of bread? :-D |

Look out for store 'loyalty' cards as well - not the credit cards. You don't have to buy anything |
