Sharron Report 22 May 2014 11:53

The housing association have to come here and serve a notice to quit.

They have to evict Fred so I can have the tenancy!

I am just wondering if I should leave him on the streets.

Sharron Report 22 May 2014 12:06

It is a procedure they have to carry out to be within the letter of the law I think.

It is ridiculous but at least it appears you will inherit the tenancy.

I am having him evicted now he can't do the washing and washing up any more!.

There is no depth to which I will not stoop!

Red tape & silly rules.

Good to know you have a home Sharron :-D

You can breathe out now.... maybe......

Find out how many bits of paper the housing association want/need from you.

Susan10146857 Report 22 May 2014 13:47

Just think though.....in many years to come, when you are well gone and a descendant is rooting through papers, they may come across the eviction notice and not knowing the circumstances will become to know you as the evil one who evicted her poor Father......dates of death will not be taken into account because as can be seen on ancestry.....nobody takes any notice of such fripperies.

Good news you can keep your home. Red tape and rules seem to be ridiculous at times, but you have got what you want in the end. I am pleased for you.

My heart sank into my boots just now - then I opened up this thread.

Seems odd, but who cares as long as the tenancy is transferred.

I hope they don't want to dig up the scullery floor, in case you've hidden him there!!
