* nods head and agrees with Gwynne* Really annoying that everything that I get pleasure from (on TV) will be either moved or cancelled because of all the matches that are on. And, if we have to have the world cup matches, why are we having to also watch the warm up matches? Sunday is great. Canadian Grand Prix on one and Sport aid on ITV Countryfile, that I like watching is on at 5 O'clock. Huh? I shall have to record it!! |

S4C will also probably be free from football. Wales aren't in it, so S4C can concentrate on rugby and lots of nice programmes. |

BBC4 is the one channel that I would expect to be free from football. |

Dazed/Confused. The worldwide commercial fish industry is worth £63 billion pounds. No idea of UK share of that, but would guess at £1bn tops. Quite a lot of work in Grimsby, Hull and Fleetwood and many other places to land our catches - as well as pneumonia stood waist deep in a mountain stream in Snowdonia with your box of flies open. |

Naaah. Never heard of Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool. My eyes never stray beyond the Liberty and the great Surinam star Dwight Tiendalli. Robben looked good last night in International I watched. And von Persie. Do they play in England? :-D :-D ;-) |
