#sniffs# I shall ignore the back-handed compliment Bob. At least I think that is what it was! :-D

Love that story
I have to say my best with Tesco´s was when I emptied (almost) their bags of cheap nappy sacks..A couple close by looked amazed at me so I just said "incontinent child" and walked away.
I was slightly deflated but highly amused at the check out when I put all the nappy sack bags on the belt and the lass said "how many dogs do you have" !!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Well done Mildred. I have a similar tale to tell!

I too was queuing up in the Upmarket Supermarket, and I too had a basketfull of dog food.

Some wag [sorry!] behind me, chortled loudly, and said 'Gotta dog have you?'

I do have a superscilious look sometimes, and replied very straight faced.

'No, actually I use them for my huband's sandwiches, he really enjoys them'

Stunned silence, and he still wasn't sure.............

made me chuckle!

It's not just Tesco, several people seem to have been banned from Woolworths. No wonder they went bust. :-)

I can remember many years ago (lived at 7 Cranley Gardens, SW7 in early 1970's - true) being banned from Zetland Arms. Can't remember why though. :-S

Quite an accolade to be banned from Tesco, MH. Their sales are dodgy at mo, and they will lose a lot if sales of Winalot (groan, I know) suffer. :-D ;-)

Bobtanian Report 7 Jun 2014 12:43

true Kense, do you think we could be in for an epidemic of "older" ladies in similar situations?

Sharron

Sharron Report 7 Jun 2014 12:13

Tesco don't like it do they?

Kense

Kense Report 7 Jun 2014 12:11

By an amazing coincidence a woman was banned for exactly the same reason back in 2011. The only difference being that she was buying Winalot.
