Original point of this thread was is anybody not posting because they feel uncomfortable.

This thread itself fetches to light the certain few people who make the boards uncomfortable ........

I haven't been to Italy recently either, every time we go to book, we change our minds about what part to go to, it's all so gorgeous isn't it. But could do with a bit of Rome right now, then again Sorrento could do with a visit, see what I mean :-D

Nolls, I wasn't implying it was you :-) :-) your thread was still there when I posted. What I meant was that on a couple of threads to which I replied, I replied in depth ....and then find the blinky threads have gone...rather p's one right orff, as you may have gathered :-D

You're probably about right there Nolls. I'm currently asking myself why in heck's name I bothered, just the other day, to post on a couple of threads (both by the same person), only to find that they've now been deleted.

Thank you for the well meaning advice. However, I am not sure how I can avoid being able to 'see things that didn't happen', when something clearly did!

He admits full responsibility for his participation in the 'vibrating rabbit' thread, for which he received a final warning.

Cynthia. Please don't try to see things that didn't happen.
The 'misunderstanding' is there for all to see and was just that. Nothing to get excited about and nothing to do with the banned member.

My post along the lines of 'why would I be going anywhere?' was a response to a rather odd and 'out of the blue' post of Johns something like 'I wouldn't like you to go Island'. John deleted this and another equally uncontentious post around the same time.

Happy now?

Oh, and this was not the last thread that he posted on. The other thread was deleted.

I'll take that as an apology then Cynthia, you commented on the thread knowing there were posts removed, but not knowing what they said, then assumed, perhaps another time you'll ask what was said, before you accuse.

Jax, I don't know why Sylvia thought it'd be a good idea to drag up a thread from days ago, add what she did, then say I won't be around for 10 days to answer. Why bother in the first place?

All this cloak and dagger stuff does my head in, it's a chat thread, not an Old Bailey whodunit trial. although that'd be far more more interesting !

Sylvia didn't reply when this was first posted because she was away at the time, she has been home a couple of days and is away again from today

If there is anyone who wants the post ( from the other thread) that was reported I have it, in the confirmation from GR that it had been removed...I think it's fair to say that it was not so much what was said, but that it was posted repeatedly, John just didn't know when to quit...'terrier shaking a rat' syndrome, I suffer from it too so I know the signs!

Johns posts have gone off this thread but he did not say anything much in particular on it
Other posters are referring to another thread that he did go over board on
Can't say I saw it but sounds like it was the source of his current dilemmas

If you have never complained about John to GR Lynda then, of course, I will apologise - unreservedly.



One thing I liked about John, was the fact that he usually said he was sorry if he knew he had gone over the top on something.


Reading through this thread you can tell that some posts have been removed because it doesn't flow, but there seems to have been a misunderstanding along the way - and it's one of the last, if not the last, threads John commented on.

They would also know that if you reported him you would say so

Or his fingers in this case then so be it

And that is indeed what I said Cynthia, but did I mention John, no I didn't, assuming again, THAT is where these boards go haywire, assuming things YOU think are said, but in fact you have no idea.

Seeing as Sylvia brought up this post after 5 days, I'll assume that is why you replied to it, wonder why you didn't reply when I first posted, and why it is you now feel able to tell the world of John's ban, why not do it before now.

If you want to "blame" me for John being banned then feel free. I will be honest and say, I'm not bothered either way if he is here or not, I avoided John most of the time, couldn't be doing with his digs at people, rather than just saying what he meant, he's done it to me in the past, and I can't be bothered with folk like that.

Those who once banded his name on pm's telling all and sundry about John's private life, it seems are now his best friends, that's up to others how they conduct there lives, but me, I'm happy not fannying around being friends with someone when it suits, then when someone else is flavour of the month, turning on the first mate, to go with the second, until they do something I don't like. I don't do that in my private life, nor do I do it on here, if I don't like you I avoid you, that's it.

If you or others find that a strange way to conduct life, so be it, but at least you know with people like me, they say what they mean. I'd say that was a good thing, but if you think differently up to you, but DO NOT insinuate that I have said something I didn't. I'll await an apology.
