Apparently he has now admitted he did bite the other player but he won't do it again.

My daughter aged 3 bit her year old brother - she did not do it again, she found out it hurt.

Mine didn't bite, but youngest (aged 3) kicked me quite a few times one day, taking her sister to school.
We got back home, I (wearing bumper boots) gently retaliated - she didn't do it again.
Recently, my 3 year old - must be something about 3 year olds! - grandson didn't want me to hold his hand crossing a road, and kept pulling my finger back - unfortunately for him, as he pulled my finger back, my other fingers automatically curled over - into the palm of his hand.

I've got long, strong finger nails, and warned him.

He hasn't done it since........

Is there no other footballer with a 'penchant' for biting who could give him a taste of his own medicine? Or are the authorities just going to accept that this is 'something he does'?

Hi Jude and everyone:-)

Thing is Suarez did not apologise for BITING Chiellini!

According to his statement read out on TV during the Football today his "teeth collided with Chiellini"!:-0 :-0

Copied and Pasted from The Independent..

The Liverpool striker issued a statement on his Twitter feed after having time to "regain my calm and reflect about the reality of what occurred".

The Uruguay striker wrote: "Independent from the fallout and the contradicting declarations that have surfaced during these past days, all of which have been without the intention of interfering with the good performance of my national team, the truth is that my colleague Giorgio Chiellini suffered the physical result of a bite in the collusion he suffered with me".

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/worldcup/luis-suarez-apology-at-last-the-truth--the-liverpool-striker-comes-clean-and-vows-never-to-bite-again-9574329.html

The cameras prove with close up shots, that Suarez BENT his head down and deliberately bit Chiellini, not in an accidental collision of teeth with Chiellini's shoulder, or from Chiellini deliberately ramming his shoulder into Suarez' mouth.

I am reminded of the witty words of the satirist Samuel Butler, who died over 110 years ago:

"I believe that he was really sorry, that people would not believe he was sorry, that he was not more sorry."
