Saw Dolly on tv doing Glastonbury, what a gal! Brilliant.

Daughter went to Glastonbury about three times.

First time - came home with a nose ring.

Second time - came home with a belly-button ring.

Third time - threatened a tattoo, but had the sense not to!

The smell when she bought her washing home, and opened the bag!

:-P :-P :-P

Jude, I have nothing against tattoo's per se. But I feared that for her chosen profession it might have been a no-no.

Not many teachers with a LOVE and HATE marking on their pinkies!

Seriously she was talking about a BIG one on her back! Seeing as she is no bigger than six pennyworth of coppers, it would have been a disaster!

Piercings you can remove, but, once you is inked, you is inked!

What a fantastic figure she has, great performance and the crowd loved her but I would hate to be in the middle of that crowd.

My mate has the names of her kids on her foot, and her husband's name on the inside of her wrist.

A woman I work with has a bl##dy great dragon on her back!

Another young girl I know has two paw prints on her boobs. I dont quite understand that!

My three granddaughters all have tattoos on their backs...... they are not very large just small designs in memory of their mum. They had them done just a few weeks after she passed away.....

I always remember my mum saying that tattoos were like a criminal record, you are marked for life! This was after I had told her that a 'boyfriend' of mine had joined the army and had a tattoo on his arm with my name in it.
Funnily enough her own mother had a tattoo on her arm, which according to a cousin who remembers seeing it, was a man's name but not that of our grandfather and that she was very much ashamed of it.
Just to add the I met the 'boyfriend' again a few years ago and he still had a tattoo on his arm but my name was no longer in it !

So, tattoos definitely not for me personally, but understand the reasons that people choose to have them.

Evening....

Daughter and partner are home now and we are with them....yippeee.... so many stories to tell, they had a ball. Loads of photos too :-)

They loved Dolly:-)
We watched Jake Bug and George Ezra this evening, brilliant:)

The only reason l have'nt had another tattoo done before now is the grandchildren and how they will react....but its likely l will have one fairly soon when l can find a good tattooist, we don't have any in town now.

Joeva......to add names of girl/boyfriends names is way too risky. Can understand the g/daughters having their mums name done though, bless them.

MotownGal....well l was going to have a bangle of forget-me-knots for my dear friend who has altzheimers (diagnosed aged 57yrs),or a flower on my ankle, but may now just have a dainty (as dainty as poss) chain link bangle. l live in South Wales...will have to travel half hr ish to find one, not too bad.

That George Ezra and Jake Bug are brilliant ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
