I always give two choices.

Eat it or go without.

If I say dunno I get the dreaded salad. The 1960 salad.

My OH gets what's put in front of him! Fortunately he's not fussy.

In the interest of economy I plan a week's meals and buy what I need. So the only choice would be the order in which things got eaten.

Dunno is the same as I don't mind

Roughly translated it means whatever you're going to the effort of making for me :-P

Bread and pullit is nice for a change Uzzi !

I am so chuffed, I am getting out of cooking two nights in a row this week! On Thursday we are going out to a newish restaurant for my son and his future b.i.l's combined birthday dinner (son will be 32, b.i.l.t.b. will be 21 on same day) It is all food cooked in the smokehouse way from America, not really my taste as I don't like smoked food but will give it a go (http://www.drayyardsmokehouse.co.uk/ )

On Friday evening we will go to Brewer's Fayre restaurant locally to eat before going on to a reunion of o.h.'s first workplace where he worked for 25 yrs before being made redundant. I also worked there but in the office for about 7 months as a temp. It was before o.h.'s time there, when I was there he was still at school aged 14! I know at least two of the people who go to the reunions tho so will be an interesting evening. If I make sure o.h. eats a lot first he won't get so tipsy. He does get carried away at these reunions as he usually goes on his own.

Although I live alone, I quite often have 'Dunno', or the alternative, 'Can't be a&&ed cooking'.
Had a Scotch egg for breakfast the other day, well, it's just sausage and egg in another form :-D
