Could it be that on 30 July 1966 - England won the Football World Cup in London, beating West Germany 4 - 2. This was England's first (and only) win since the tournament began in 1930. England forward Geoff Hurst became the only man to score a hat-trick in a world cup final :-D |

My son still has not forgiven me because at his 6th birthday party half of the lads disappeared because I would not switch on football. Well I did not know it was important - little wonder his father had disappeared also! |
