What a horrible day.

A friend didn't wake up this morning.

His partner is completely distraught.

He was only in his early 60s.

Such a lovely man, everyone loved him.

I haven't come to grips with it yet.

I know it is not good for those left behind, but nothing would be, but what a marvelous way to go.

Isn't it what we all wish for ourselves?

How horrible it would have been if this was not the day he died quietly in his bed but the day he had been diagnosed with something horrible and painful with only painful death at the end..

We think the same as you Sharron.

My husband's Dad died whilst sitting up in bed reading the paper one morning, it was a horrible shock at the time as he was only 59, but having seen the way his mother and my parents suffered, it is definitely the best way to go......something we didn't think at the time, but do now.

Condolences to you LadyScozz <3

Thankyou <3

The best way I suppose. I've seen family & friends with horrible illnesses have years in pain and distress. Awful for everyone.

His partner is a lovely lady, very strong, but she has fallen apart now. I'll be there with shoulders for her if she needs them.

Dear Scozz. My deepest sympathy to you and your friends family. My father died in exactly the same way, he was just 55 years old. At the time for all of us it was like the end of our world. As years have gone by I can still recall him has a very handsome fit man who sadly died to soon. I wish he was here now. <3 <3

Can empathise completely Lady Scozz.
2 weeks ago, our good friend who was best man at our wedding 5 years ago committed suicide by hanging himself.
Still trying to come to terms with it. He was only 57 & was a lovely man.
So sorry for your loss.
