Wend, many years ago when my eldest was a baby I met another new mum and invited her in for coffee one morning. As she left she said " see you later", a phrase I had never heard before instead of goodbye. I spent the whole afternoon wondering when she was going to turn up. What an innocent I was in those days!!! |

Ooh, Paula, I do so agree with you on that one. One (young!) friend (of a friend) of mine puts pics of her 3-yr old daughter on FB every day, with comments such as 'Isn't she lovely', 'my gorgeous Flo***e, etc. and then puts a photo of her sitting on a bench with her legs open, saying how adorable she is. |
