Showed it to my OH Scozz and he could not
believe it, said exactly what I said about wanting
to know where they heard it if it was our girls.

I'd be wondering too........ but if grandad is proud of her :-S what will she be like when she's 15? :-0

I showed the clip to DH.... he laughed, then said "That's terrible, her parents must be low-life"

Hi Scozz,
5 million hits in less than 2 days seems pretty popular :-D

I have just seen my son doing the ice bucket challenge on facebook. I actually laughed out loud. He was talking non stop whilst he was drowned by two huge buckets of water, he then stood up and politely said THANK YOU.......... <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

PS

I must just add he is a lawyer so none stop talking comes natural to him :-D :-D :-D

Dermot

Dermot Report 28 Aug 2014 09:19

‘A third of the population of Detroit face having their water supplies disconnected because they are unable to pay their bills, a situation that the United Nations has called “an affront to human rights”.

As the bankrupt city struggles to maintain basic services, a moratorium that had suspended water disconnections has been ended, prompting warnings that residents face third-world conditions as they are cut off for non-payment‘.

(The Times.)

I suspect that the charity fundraising ‘ice bucket challenge’ may not be as popular there as it appears to be in the UK.

I saw that one yesterday LadyScozz,
I don't know if the ages are correct but, I was shocked.
The family obviously thought it was funny or they wouldn't have put it online.

I just saw this.........

http://www.9news.com.au/world/2014/08/28/16/15/potty-mouthed-ice-bucket-toddler-sorry-not-sorry

Is the story correct? It states her mother is 40, and her grandfather is 33 :-S :-S

Her father must be very young :-) lolol

I would donate but not have the ice bucket on me, I believe it to be dangerous for some and there are warmer things to do for good causes. :-0

my friend just rang me - she's being "done" at 4:30 today - she says she has to nominate three people - I've threatened her with retribution if she nominates me - I'll donate instead

PollyinBrum

PollyinBrum Report 26 Aug 2014 11:42

It's very easy (for some people) to make a donation to charity.

The ice bucket challenge is a positive way of promoting MND awareness and the donations will help in the research of the disease.

Several member of our families have taken part and posted on FB it looks like they had great fun.The important thing is for every person taking part and donating they will be helping to spread the word.
