Had a big disappointment today :-( :-(

My daughter, the newly qualified midwife, had a job interview today, but wasn't successful. There were so many applicants for 1 job - she was shortlisted - one of 25, but didn't get the job. Why have they trained so many - they really need midwives, but there are no jobs. :-0 very annoying! :-| :-| :-|

Hi GinN, think positively that she got shortlisted and to keep applying. It will work out for in the end I have no doubt <3

Sorry to hear that GiN. What a lovely job to have trained for <3 <3....One of the hardest jobs to have sometimes, my friend is one in Arrowe Park Hospital and she loves her job......

I have everything crossed for you daughter, their loss I say......Hopefully their is a special job for her soon..... <3

There used to be a quaint olde world book shop not far away that I bought my 1902 Street maps from and they have bloomin closed down. Have been googling but not much luck with that either :-(
