Hiya everyone :-D

Lovely sunshine her in Robin Hood City... Looks like I might get to cut the hedges all around the back garden, (last cut of the year I hope). :-(


Got one of the Godsons coming to raid the Pear tree later on, well he`s not getting me climbing up the darn tree for them (at 50 he`s a bit younger and fitter than I am).:-D
I suppose he`ll be nicking some of the tomatoes out of the green house as well now they have decided to ripen, seem a bit late this year. :-D

Anyways wherever you are ay a nice day and iffen yo aint gor any sunshine yet I`ll sen yo a bucket full.
So it`s, Ay up miducks tek care o` y`sens :-D :-D

I`ve just got back in after opening the little ole greenhouse out back.
I`ve just been followed up the path by something I aint ever seen round here for years... a beautiful big dragonfly. amazing creatures and so elegant and it settled for a while on my little pot plant apple tree.(One of the grandkids grew it from a pip some years ago). :-D :-D

The first time I ever saw a Dragonfly was when my daughter was a toddler. We were visiting my mother's house and I was putting something on the washing line. There, sitting on the line looking at me, was a MONSTER!

Never having seen anything like it before, and not knowing what it was capable of, I grabbed my daughter and ran inside.

My mother laughed and told me it was a dragonfly, and said she loved them. They used to always see them by the river in the country town she grew up in.

I bought her a dragonfly brooch then!
