I have been in contact recently with Mac and asked him if he wanted me to put up a message from him - this is what he says:

,......................Please pass my best wishes to all that knew me, I miss them all and have tried to make contact a few times, but have been unsuccessful .................I don't know why .......Perhaps I have to pay them

He's doing ok, plodding along - it's great to know he is still keeping an eye on us!

I remember Mac well, he gave me many a chuckle!! :-) :-) Thanks for letting us know how he is, I wondered what had happened as I remember he had some nasty infection with a superbug. I think he did some volunteer work with aeroplanes too?

Pass on my best wishes and wish him well and yes, I miss his posts a lot. :-)

Glad to hear he is ok. He did love his cruises but akways seemed to return with some bug or other.

Everytime time I se a helicopter I think of Mac,,,,glad hes doing well,good health wishes to him.

I still get emails forwarded by him, met him in Liverpool (as you'll remember Liz lol). nice man.

I remember Mac and tales from his many travels. Also his ill-health issues, so thanks Liz for passing on the Old Geezers thoughts. It's good to know he is plodding on. xx

Mac didn't say much about his health but I think both he and Mrs Mac are as I said, plodding on.

Rose, yes I remember meeting Mac in Liverpool, have a nice pic of him. you and others. That was the first time I surprised Dutch and managed to do it a couple more times too before letting her know when I was travelling north. It's been an incentive to see more of England, with Liverpool being the first visit, Sheffield the next, Rotherham the next one, and Conisborough the following time (we stayed at Wroot in Lincolnshire) Then this latest visit which introduced us to Derbyshire as well where we are planning to travel again later this month for a couple of weeks, we liked the cottage, village, people and area so much we want to see more.
