Here we go again - it is being reported that Fiona Woolf, Lord Mayor of London, who was appointed to replace Lady Butler-Sloss as head of the historical child sexual abuse enquiry set up by the government, has links to Leon Brittan (Baron Brittan of Spennithorne), the Home Secretary at the centre of the missing dossier about the alleged abuse which was given to him by the late Tory MP Geoffrey Dickens in 1983. |

Following the resignations of Lady Butler-Sloss and Fiona Woolf, the Home Secretary Theresa May, said yesterday, in a statement to the House of Commons, that she was sorry that the inquiry into historical child abuse - has no chairperson as a result of their resignations. |
