If people have to pay to watch the fireworks, they won't spend as much elsewhere I expect unless they are wealthy, so some shopkeeper or such will miss out |

It will cost £10 per person to watch this years London's New Year's Eve fireworks display, the maximum number of tickets a person can purchase is four and the number of tickets available for the event is to be limited to 100,000 ticketed spectators - this is the first time a charge has been levied for the event and the first time the number of spectators has been limited to a specific number. |
