I used to get in first then my brother. When we had a bath and geyser put in at the back of the scullery my mum used to bath all the kids in the street :-D :-D :-D

My Great Grandparents were posh too Barb!

They were the first people in the area to have their own water pump in the garden! Everyone else had to go to the public water pump in a nearby village :-D

No Mersey a geyser was an old gas water heater over the bath :-D :-D

We had one of those hanging on a nail under the stairs..which dad used to carry and lay it in front of the fire :-D :-D

Is there a doctor in the house....I need one for painters elbow,wrist,knees and back :-(
