Hello...........Ti's moi :-D

I want to give my cousin permission to view my tree on Ancestry.

My tree is private........I have explained to her on how to find my tree and to click on "Ask them nicely" and thought we could do it that way.

She is not grasping what the ell i is on about though!! :-D

Is there a way you can allow someone access to your tree on Ancestry without them having to ...."Ask nicely"?

I hope someone on here can understand what the ell i is on about.

If you open the tree, next to the title is a tab 'Tree pages' Click that and from the dropdown there is 'Share your tree'. You need the email address. Ancestry sends a link to enable the person to view your tree.

It's on one of the boxes on the left hand side,
If you hit it the drop down tells you how also if I remember rightly :-)

Even though i have been a member of Ancestry for years.........i have only recently built a tree on there.

So.........i have no idea on how to share it.
