Have you ever wondered what happened to certain celebrities after they were famous?

I've just been reading about a strange new role for 6th Sense star Haley Joel Osment

https://uk.yahoo.com/movies/haley-joel-osment-is-playing-a-greasy-haired-nazi-in-97127530531.html

The last I heard he was having drug or alcohol abuse problems; which might be a common problem for child stars.

Remember Macaulay Culkin? The Home Alone star battled with drug addiction and now fronts a bizarre band called The Pizza Underground, preforming songs about pizzas.

One star who has suffered from alcohol addiction later in life is former Airwolf star Jan Michael Vincent. He has had most of his left leg apputated due to infection and is struggling to keep a roof over his head.

I often wondered what happened to the girl who played Newt in the film Aliens. Carrie Henn has not acted before or since her appearence in the horror sequel.

Poltergeist star Heather O'Rourke came to a sad end. She died shortly after filming Poltergeist 3 at the age of 12. Doctors at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital misdiagnosed her has having Crohn's Disease. The treatment caused her to have a fatal heart attack.

Which stars of yesteryear do you miss seeing now? Do you know what happened to them after they were famous?

I had a thing about Jan Michael-Vincent as a teenager....I remember seeing this film at the cinema whilst at school and then a few years later going sick from work because it was on the TV one afternoon....before video days :-D

How about that bloke who played Oliver Twist?

He is an osteopath or something like that AND isn't he the father of Michael Jackson's children?

Mark Lester

Graham Report 9 Nov 2014 09:15

The father of Michael Jacksons children? Wouldn't that be Michael Jackson? :-S
I don't think he ever played Oliver Twist though. :-S

Graham

Graham Report 9 Nov 2014 09:18

Could it be Mark Lester you're refering to?

DazedConfused

DazedConfused Report 9 Nov 2014 12:21

Thats him Mark Lester

And if Michael Jackson is the father of those 3 'white' children then I am a monkeys aunt!!!!!

And yes I do understand genetics and the fact that a white or black father can father a child of a different colour, but 3 times, please...... :-D

Graham

Graham Report 9 Nov 2014 12:28

So what you're saying is the children aren't his; so Mark Lester isn't the father of his children. Unless Mark Lester made Michael Jackson pregnant. :-S

Perhaps Michael Jackson was telling the truth when he sang that line "the kid is not my son"

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 9 Nov 2014 12:33

The 'father of MJ's children' is from a newspaper interview a few years ago, possibly the Telegraph.

Apparently Mark Lester, who was friends with MJ, was asked to be a sperm donor....but then so was at least one other person

Edit - Apologise, the interview was in the Daily Mail in 2013

You know you can transport bulls' semen abroad don't you?

Well you take that thought and you do with it as you will.

DazedConfused

DazedConfused Report 9 Nov 2014 12:35

Mark Lester may well be the generic father of MJs children, but MJ himself certainly was not....

He was however their dad.

Lord Lucan?

Graham

Graham Report 9 Nov 2014 18:52

Yesterday was the 40th anniversary of Lord Lucans disappearance. If he's still alive he's nearly eighty now.

According to http://www.lordlucan.com/ he is "alive and living in either South America or Africa, possibly Canada or the USA". In other words. he could be anywhere. ;-)
