I think the first LP I did buy was a Slade one.

Can't remember what it was called now! Possibly called "Born To Be Wild"
Which at the time I thought was Born To Be Loved!:-D :-D :-D

It had "Darling Be Home Soon" on it!:-)

I can remember buying my first LPs.

They were 78s that I bought in a jumble sale when I must have been about 10. I loved them. I used to play them on our Radiogram.

I think one of them was called "HOT POT STEW" or something like that. It was a comical one. Obviously with a title like that :-D :-D :-D

Schools out by Alice Cooper, think 1971 and lamplight by David Essex.

LP was a compilation album around 1973/74 Had rocket man, The in Crowd,Ku Fu Fighting etc but cant remember the exact name of it.

I still have all my 45's and LP's. many have colour covers still in tact.

I wonder if they are worth anything to a collector? Anybody know?

Florence

LP 1963 "With the Beatles" Parlophone 32/6.
45 1967 "See Emily Play" Pink Floyd Columbia 7/6
Didn't buy 45s before that cos I got them for free.

WTB sounds even more wonderful today than 50 years ago it is a full of life.
