Sharron Report 4 Dec 2014 02:20

I have a Kenwood food processor that is fifteen years old. It has been in for repair a couple of times but I don't think it is going to let me indulge in a Chef any time soon.

I would put it towards a new projector..... The one I have is on its last legs :-)

Bide your time Maggie. I made a killing when Comet went under.

Ever practical - I'd buy a fridge freezer and a new washing machine.
My washing machine still works, but is getting 'tetchy'. I have an under counter fridge/tiny freezer, and chest freezer. I want to get rid of the chest freezer, so will need a tall fridge freezer.
May have to help with the cost from my own money though :-(

Oh brill Sylvia :-) :-)

Queen is my favourite band, and I championed Adam Lambert all the way through American Idol!

I hope you have a wonderful time! :-) :-)

Sylvia Report 3 Dec 2014 22:58

Jem, Dare I tell you that I am going to see Queen and Adam Lambert in January in Leeds, as a Christmas present . £70 for tickets
:-D :-D
So with that £500 I would buy a ring as I adore them.

Shoes, shoes and more shoes Joy how I envy you...well not to the tune of £500 but I have trouble getting one pair that are comfortable and stylish. I have big feet ans the Spanish have small feet! I have to wait until I'm in the UK to go shoe shopping.

SheilaWestWilts that sounds like money well spent but sorry as it was spent before today you can't count it. Time to put your thinking cap on :-)

Lavender It sounds like your Kenwood is well used. I have a cheaper make and its as good as new but about 15 years old. I never use it ;-)

I'm with you on the Kenwood, Sharron. I'm on my second since my marriage, already!

It's a bit rubbish now since I broke the bowl and ordered a new one over the web. It's probably not the original but a copy? I have to keep scraping the sides to get it to mix. It might be more due to the fact that I bend the whisk to try and get it to fit!

Apart from that, I'm still thinking… probably clothes all the way..

I've already spent it - getting the 'family heirloom' Measham ware pottery restored :-D

Kucinta, I love my iPad and that would be my choice too if I didn't already have one. I haven't got an iPhone.

Uzzi, you're being very practical and I hope the change would buy you a very special dragon. Have you got many?

JemimaFawr

JemimaFawr Report 3 Dec 2014 17:40

Hi TS :-)

I had a quick look on some websites. They are way over £100 each.

Then there's the travelling costs from where I am in South West Wales. You would probably need to stay overnight too! Could perhaps just about do it for £500 for 2!

Sensibly a DC59 at 300pound that´s a lot of money for a hoover that my head refuses to pay at the moment and the rest on Dragons

Whim a dragon statue

Either a ipad/note pad of some sort, or a piece of rose gold jewelery, vintage or modern.

RE 'Regard' rings, you can also get 'Dearest' rings in the same way, but I once saw what was described as a 'musical brooch' on ebay that, when I looked closer, had the musical notes D, E, A, followed by the 'REST' symbol, quite a clever little 'coded' message in the manner so loved by the Victorians.

Jem, do Queen in concert tickets really cost more than £500.00? But it wouldn't be much fun on your own :-(

The cruise sounds great Andysmum perhaps OH could start saving now for his half :-)

Andysmum

Andysmum Report 3 Dec 2014 15:08

I'd put it towards a cruise up the Baltic to visit The Hermitage at St Petersburg. OH would want to come too, so the actual cost is a bit much!! :-( :-( :-(

JemimaFawr

JemimaFawr Report 3 Dec 2014 14:48

Two tickets to see Queen and Adam Lambert in Concert and an overnight stay!

I've just seen the prices :-0 :-0 :-0 so £500 may not be enough!

It would have to be one ticket, and whoever is coming with me will have to pay for themselves:-D :-D :-D

Cross that they are not coming to Wales though! :-| :-|

Good thinking Ann. I know you take a lot of photos when you are here. By the way there are a couple of sites on FB that have some lovely photos of Puerto and Tenerife in general xx
