My niece came up from Bristol today and we were talking about the programme, her office is across the from where he lives and she sees him most days and she said he's doing ok she also said she would stop and speak to him |

it was a lesson in not judging people, nor jumping to conclusions just because somebody 'looks' guilty. |

I so agree with you Liz he had some really good friends though that could speak the truth to him and I found that very touching, I hope he's happy and can move on from that dreadful time |

I found it very interesting especially as I hadn't seen the things that happened after he was cleared, the way he kind of came out of himself and joined in the lobbying re phone hacking and such. He looked quite different with his hair cut and coloured and I hope his life is going well for him now. |

It's also 'local' news for us so have seen a lot of the case and surrounding events. We can't just blame the media, many people were quick to make a judgement of him, I think there were even comments on here :-(. I haven't watched it - will probably see it on catch-up if it's available. |

Having lived through it being sort of local the papers were constantly full of it, I couldn;'t bring myself to watch his torment again. Poor man. |

I remember the case very well part of the reason I have two nieces that live in that area and of course it was all over the news and papers. I do think the way the media hounded him was shocking I am looking forward to seeing it tomorrow |

I found it fascinating - the police and media's views/misunderstanding of someone who was 'out of the ordinary', and didn't conform to their view of 'normal'. |

I'm watching, but as Kay said, it's rather slow and plodding, but rather well done and true to what happened. |
