Uzzi, just a thought, because obviously I don't know, but I wonder if your father felt that running a business which operated at that level ( going by the amount of the contract) was, or had been, a drain on his life and he didn't want that for you? If there is something in our own lives that we see was a negative factor, then maybe we'd want not to pass that on? |

I think he might have realized he had overstretched himself and, rather than go into overtrading that would have meant he could not fulfill the contract but might have held him open to be sued for breach (I think) which would have been expensive, he cut his losses and handed the problem over to somebody else. |
