Was just thinking about genealogy in general and all the false paths we go down after reading sometimes false info on certs.

Was sorting some of dad's paperwork...he had his army records...he has my date of birth down wrong :-0 :-0 :-0

I think my nan must have sent the telegram to Germany arriving on the 27th and that's when he has informed his senior I was born..so that's what was written in his records...however mum & I arrived in Germany to live not long after...but he never thought to correct his mistake :-0 :-0
