I didn't get the impression that Caroline could actually see Kate just that, in her head, she was imagining what she would have said. But yes, it was a bit weird.

My impression too Ann. I think it would've been weirder if she'd been shown talking to herself.

I often have chats with people who are in my head, usually when I'm on my own though :-)

Well i watched it but the stepbrother Gary is really stirring things. up .very needy .last episode should be good .will Gillian marry her man .?? :-) :-)

It only works so well because of the actors - I think we would have all turned off by now if it wasn't for the cast.

I'm glad I am not the only one finding this series a bit daft.

I only look forward to the scenes with Ann Reid and Derek Jacobi, the others just seems to be descending into farce.

I think myself the addition of the stepbrother Gary & his story .has changed the whole prog .he is to much in your face & taken over what was a good hrs watching .shame as really good actors Ann Reid .Derek Jacobi .Sarah Lancashire & most of them made it good to watch Barbra

It is really becoming more about Gary and gillian etc than about the main characters. Sad. :-(

This last programme could have been condensed

Apparently they have announced, by Twitter, that a fourth series has been commissioned.

Thought there was too much in it, too many loose ends tied up, not at all realistic. Why the puncture and all that faff? And did we need to have a bridegroom throwing up at the wedding. Where was the point in that? And I don't like the Gary character at all, he doesn't fit into the original concept which I thought was to show a romance between an older couple.
