We have a thermometer that does both...... the thermometer is inside, and there's a wire with a small thingumy on the end, attached to the thermometer, that you can stick in the window frame, which gives the temp outside (two readings on the thermometer). Ummmmm, what I mean is..... the thingumy on the end of the wire goes outside. |

I have a sensor that sits in the shade outside, and a "reader" inside the house so that I can check the temperature in the shade whenever I want ......... |

posh? nah........ there are fancy ones around now, all sorts of information.... temperatures, humidity levels, what colour socks you're wearing etc etc |
