Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 15 Feb 2015 22:22

A friend gave me all three books when she had read them. Unlike any other donated book, they are still in the bag. I really don't feel an urge to read them so will probably give them to a charity shop. Certainly won't watch the film, I don't go to tbe cinema because of my fm and the unco fottable seats but ptobably wouldn't watch it if it was on tv either.

I dtarted going grey at an early age but used an ash blonde colour to disguise the grey (originally dark chestnut brown) I always said I would not go grey till I was a grandma but when I started losing my hair it made me concerned about dying it so
Had to accept the grey, despite only being a 'step' grandmother so far.

Perhaps because the title suggests it's a story about old folk.

Me, me, Miss, me, me.

If everyone here thinks it is rubbish, how did it sell so many copies?

Just asking.

Talking about grey hair reminded me of a twitter account.
For those of you who like a good laugh but don't mind a bit of innuendo, Google Fifty Shades of Gran!!

Some examples:

She fixed me with a gaze filled with sensuality, eroticism and deep, passionate desire. Either that or her glaucoma was playing up again

She always kept a line of men waiting, frustrated and desperate. Why did she have to pay with the exact change every time she went to Tesco?

She stared up at me, smiled seductively and slowly bit her lip. Those new dentures were taking a while to get used to.

She pressed her hand against my chest and I gulped as I felt a sudden spark of desire. Although it could have been static from her cardigan.

:-D

My friend, a mousy little creature positively salivated over the book, and offered it to me.

After all the hype, I was determined NOT to read the blasted thing.

I too am a Silver Fox. What an elite club we are!

Was sucked into reading the first one by all the hype. So poorly written it annoyed me and I was just glad I hadn't bought the others at the same time. Saw a trailer on the TV for the film and it did nothing to make me want to pay good money to see it! Don't know why they are releasing at valentines, there is nothing romantic about it! X

Not interested. Isn't it about a man grooming a young woman for his own sadistic sexual fantasies?
