rats, spiders and snakes

As I posted on another thread I have a rat problem at present, but having kept them they are amazing creatures. ;-)

I was just as upset when Mel & Griff died as my cat or dog, really missed them coming up to the front of the cage every time they saw you. They loved Smarties but would shell them like nuts and leave the coating!

First rat 'welcome' in our house was a baby one my daughter found on the underground. She really was amazing! (the rat, that is, though daughter's pretty amazing too)
Later on, both daughters got 'fancy' rats - they weren't nearly as nice, or interesting as the underground one, they also grew incredibly big. Perhaps released 'fancy' rats may be the cause of the allegedly 'giant' rats we now appear to have.

By the same token, I cornered a wild one once - and feared for my life as much as the rat did - but who can blame him for fighting back?
I also have absolutely no problem with my cats (or one at least) killing and eating them (he always leaves the spine, tail and liver) :-S

I can't every imagine keeping a pet rat! I wouldn't ever be able to go near it.. :-0

we have had pet Rats they are no problem to me
its just wild ones I am not keen on


but give me as rat to a dirty mouse any day
Rats have a flap on their bladders
where mice don't so mice wee as they walk
leaving a trail behind them
and they poo where they eat Rats dont :-D :-D

Snakes :-( they really make me shudder. Years ago my step sis used to have pet snakes and I could never find anything nice about them.

The Fancy rats we had peed all the time. Not sure if this was just because they were male, or because they were Fancy (inbreeding etc).
The underground rat was female and never peed out of the cage.

face masks - just hate them

rats and mice do pee all the time - everywhere they go

hate alcohol and drunk people

I don't particularly like Welsh people although some are nice

Frightening stuff frightens me

Nothing scares me really :-D :-D

but there's a few things I am not keen on
