Yes on our local tv tonight we had the head nurse researcher and he was explaing that carers/family can sign up for help and support. |

One of ours has short term memory loss - they haven't formerly been diagnosed and would probably be insulted if we suggested they signed up. |

The old lady that lived next door to me has been diagnosed with Dementia but that was after I had a word with the warden of the bungalows/flats. |

That's sad Sue, and how stupid of the warden to disregard the signs that you pointed out. I do hope your friend/neighbour will be found somewhere safe and pleasant to live with her ongoing problem, did she have relatives who would help her? Can you not visit her in hospital and see how the land lies? Would be a shame to lose contact completely unless she has suddenly become really unwell in other ways too |
