We were only going to get 85% 'blackout', so it hasn't even got dark.
It's slightly gloomier than it was (due to cloud) - that's about all.
No sunshine or bright light to compare the gloominess with, so I'm now cooking my breakfast :-D

91% is excellent Ann.

I don't think it's anything like that here... unless my pinhole is misshapen :-D :-D

Still much, much colder here, than it was earlier, and with a gloomy feeling!

The sun seems to be getting brighter again now

The end of the world is nigh - but not before election day.

Lucky people if you had enough blue sky to see it - sooo jealous!

Although it got a bit darker, nothing more than if it was about to rain heavily.

We had people come to the door to collect something at 9.25 - they had said 10 am hoping to have seen the eclipse first. The poor girl was shivering because the temps had dropped since she got dressed. :-)

I'm still seeing a curve, a small section missing on the left side of the sun on the reflection, but it's much brighter now

Here comes the sun (doo doo doo doo)
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes

Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

:-D

Wow GL

Great pic.

I have just tried to take a photo from the inside of my homemade viewing box. A bit after the fact. I only just thought of it!

I'll see if I can get it up on here!

Jemima the eclipse is still on right now.
The moon's shadow has almost passed but there's still a small section of sun missing from the left side.
It's too bright to photograph :-( :-( :-(

JemimaFawr Report 20 Mar 2015 10:20

Thanks GL

I did think it was, but I thought maybe my pinhole on my box was wonky :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I've just been back out. The pinhole is fine, I can just see a small missing piece of sun to the left :-)

Was sunny here,so tried the colander method ...and it worked...didn't go dark though as it was only partial so it just wasn't as bright for a short while.
