We have no buses through thr village on Good Friday,Easter Sunday and Easter Monday so all those like myself who don't have a car are kaput..taxi cost £8 to go 5 miles or into Leeds £45 there and £45 return. |

Easter was originally a Pagan Festival, welcoming spring and rebirth - hence the eggs. Rabbits are a more recent innovation - but they breed quickly!! |

As well as having the basket of little chocolate bars for the carers, and opening his grotto at Christmas, Fred liked to be Easter Bunny to them as well. (Did that man cost me money!?) |

Despite the fact that I am now 30 and my siblings 29 and 24 our parents still buy us an Easter egg they also buy one for my brother in law who is also 30. Mine is usually a galaxy egg. |
