Down here in my corner of Kent we have a cloudy start to the day with a few morning showers, however it will turn dry and brighterer by this afternoon when there with be some bright sunny spells, but it will feel cold due to a brisk northerly wind :-)

just had a call from my daughter in law - they were at a concert in a small venue last night when my son was viciously attacked by two men and a woman - he was knocked out and kicked in the head and daughter in law kicked in the leg - all caught on CCTV - man and woman in police custody - son was taken to A & E at University Hospital of Wales, but the wait was so long, they went home and then went to another hospital where they are now - seems his cheek bone is fractured but we don't know yet what else

That's absolutely terrible AnnC; I do hope your son and DiL will be ok <3

It seems that feral thugs believe that they can do what they like and nothing will be done about it. But it is vital that justice is administered quickly in some form.

Ann - wishing a quick recovery physically to your son. His mental anguish may last a while longer.

and George Osborne saw fit to reduce the price of alcohol :-S
