Well I am 5ft 2½ and my inside leg is 28 inches. I am short in the body and longer in the leg. I suppose they'd have a job to suit all shapes and sizes but I wish they'd sort the lengths out a bit better. The medium jeans I have bought need three inches off them. But the medium jeans style trousers only needed an inch turned under.

I am desparately in need of some new bras !!

Having lost some two stone in weight but still with substantial boobs that are going south !!!! I am need of a lift

Do M &S do a bra fitting service .?

I did Google but could only come up with the expensive Peller & Rigby site

M & S do do a fitting service but I don't find their bras comfortable (I am a 38F).

I buy Fantasie bras from:-

www.amplebosom.com

EDIT - well done on the weight loss.

This place also does bra fitting:-

Thanks Kath

Although I like the weight loss and I'd needed it , it came about through 2 bouts of cellulitus in Nov and Dec
But it's gone so I am grateful, and trying to keep it off , could do with losing some more but not through cellulitus thank you .!! Lol

Years ago (many of them) I did a brief stint working for a factory that made the clothes for M&S. Often beig bored in stock control I would go and work on the lines. Collating at the beginning or or finish checking at the end.
Anything not matching what was on the manifesto was out as seconds. (no rucked seems or uneven stitches allowed. We weren´t paid fantastic money but better than some other places and if we could get an order out without too many seconds we got a bonus. If we got it out with no seconds we got a great bonus ! :-D.
These days most of the manufacturing is sent out else where where the eye to detail isn´t the same. So a long in 1 factory is a tad different in another. BUT the labour is cheaper :-0 I didn´t say that ;-)

Shirley - best place to go for bras and bra fitting is Bravissimo - they are first class - I'm very particular about bras - 32JJ - and Bravissimo stock many brands in that size - I always buy Fantasie - they are £38, but worth it

Ann that doesn´t surprise me. I doubt any of their clothes are still made in the UK.

differences in sizing has always been a problem over here ................... and has only got worse in the 47+ years we have lived in N Am

My daughter's wedding dress turned out to be a size 6

she had never been an adult size 6 ...................... size 10 or even 12 was more like it.

Turns out that they "massage" the sizes of wedding dresses so girls can say how small they were on their wedding day :-)

I have long legs, and have always had trouble buying trousers .............. my solution was to buy online from Land's End who shortened to order for free.

Unfortunately, Land's End has now changed the waist size and rise ratios of their trousers, and they no longer fit me :-(

anyway, I rarely wear trousers these days .............. I find long (maxi) skirts much more comfortable.

and that is a whole other story!!

I get a lot of my clothes from Sainsburys or Tescos, Lidls or Aldis these days for convenience, it's easy to park and I just bring a bundle home, have a tryon session at my leisure and return unwanted item I rarely buy from M & S.

I am 5'6" tall, but over the years I have put on weight and notice that the bigger the size, the longer the length of sleeves and body length on tops. It's so annoying and not easy to shorten the length of a tshirt type top by hand or basic machine stitch without it showing.

I have just measured two pairs of M&S jeans, both new and unwashed. Both sale buys. The medium one, my normal size has 31" inside legs. The short pair (bought as an experiment very cheap) has 25" inside legs so a full 6 inches between them. Goodness knows what length the long ones are! I shall make the short ones into crops (they are plum coloured.). I am also wearing a pair of M&S jeans medium length about 2 years old and they are 28" and fit perfectly. all these were made in Bangladesh.

Ladyscozz!
I never noticed the model's tattoos!
There are no sleeves on the dress and no tattoos on my 22 yr old!
