You will probably think that I am mad but the reason I am so interested in this address is because the first night in the house my mother woke to see an old woman dressed in old fashioned clothes (Black dress with a high white frilly collar and a white cap) just standing over her looking at her. My Mum screamed with the shock and the figure disappeared. She never saw the old lady again until 15 years later on the night before we moved out. Again she saw the same lady wearing the same clothes and she again vanished when my mum screamed. There was nothing threatening and we never felt uncomfortable in the house, we had great times there. Some of the workmen who were working on the house when Mum and Dad moved in mentioned cold spots in certain rooms. I would really like to see if I can find out who this lady was, as I am really interested in the paranormal. If you have read this before on my thread its because my pervious entry I deleted by accident. Sorry to repeat myself !

Jason, there are a few people on here who have an interest in the paranormal, so won't think it strange at all :-)

Everybody swears my dad's house is haunted. It's quite a new house. My dad bought it from the family of the original owner (after the original owner died).

We all thought that the ghost must be that of the original owner. David was his name.

One day one of my dad's neighbours asked him about the ghost. This neighbour had known David. It was David who had told him that the house was haunted.

So if David was the first person to own that house, and the house was haunted when he lived there, who was/is haunting that house? :-S

Ooooh Nooo! It's not built on an ancient Native American burial ground is it????? :-D

There's a (serious) programme about American ghost hunters. Every house that is haunted is over 100 years old, and, amazingly, the 'ghost busters' always manage to find something old buried in the wall :-S

They'd be pretty spooked out if they came to many British towns - there are so many buildings over 100 years old :-D

Well I wonder if those letters hidden under the floor boards in one of the bedrooms had anything to do with the old lady being connected to the hous in some way ?
