I didn't get one ............... but then I've never had one from OH, and neither have I ever bought him one

Daughter used to get a small egg and a small toy, or a box of good choccies as she got older ............. until she got married and left home. It's up to her OH to buy her Easter gifts now

I much prefer my dark chocolate covered ginger pieces ............. 2 or 3 after dinner suit me just fine :-D

We went to the club last night........

One of the staff (female) dressed up in a bunny costume (NOT a Playboy bunny!!). She walked around for over an hour, with a basket full of little eggs. I think everybody in the club got at least one. I didn't eat mine, it's somewhere in my handbag, I hope it hasn't melted!

Well, I wasn't expecting anything for Easter.
Sister & I went down to my ex's aunt's flat today - she died a few weeks ago, and we're helping him clear it.
He gave us both an Easter card, and a box of Cornish Clotted cream Fudge :-D
He also gave me a miniature of Strawberry and cream liqueur - called Cornish Lust :-D

I won't be getting anything either :-( I had OH with me when I bought eggs for the grandchildren and some lovely Lindt dark chocolate for daughter and then bought myself a pot of daffs. His response when I asked why he wasn't buying the daffs for me was "when did I last buy you flowers?". I could tell him exactly....52 years ago! Just married and he forgot my birthday so arranged for a bouquet to be delivered while he was at work. First and last time he bought me flowers.

Good job he's got other qualities or I'd have waved goodbye long ago :-D

As usual woken up by the peels of the church bells, not too happy as I was out late ... and then my fuzzy vision picked out a large golden Lindt Easter egg, 70% cocoa .... aaah pleasure unexpected.

Other half has cancelled losing weight for today :-)
