	LadyScozz - April 1st is gone for this year. But noticing something 'after 30 years'? Me? - anti-clockwise every time. I'm anti-austerity too. What bothers me somewhat is how do Australians bake upside-down cakes?

	Sharron - I've never heard that saying before :-0 Just realised, when I visualised it, and stirred in the air I thought I stirred anti-clockwise, as that seemed the easiest motion. I just went back to the kitchen and made a coffee - and I actually stir clockwise! Does whether a person's left or right handed determine the way they stir?

	Anti clockwise, just comes naturally that way. I'm right handed.
	Researching: Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

	Stir clockwise, am left handed. Hold cutlery in the 'usual' hands, but knit from the right needle onto the left one.

	Milk last, but first with coffee. Hot liquid being poured onto milk alters the taste so it's more like boiled milk apparently hence doing tbat for coffee. Before I read that somewhere, I would put milk in last with coffee too. I have heard a saying thst if you stir someone else's tea for them you are stirring up trouble for them. Lizx
