"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own, and you know what you know. And you are the guy who'll decide where to go."
Dr. Seuss

"I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities."
Dr. Seuss

God, if asked, would probably agree to vote Liberal simply for the devilment of blocking Conservative unworkable policies.

Why is it when we talk to God we are praying,
but when God speaks to us we are Schizophrenic.

I'm looking forward to the Sunday my new local PP will bother to speak to me. I’m not just a number.

Meanwhile, I simply have a few meaningful words now & then with his superior up there somewhere in the clouds.

Everyone wants to go to Heaven.
But no one wants to die.

We used to have a lovely female vicar,(Caroline) who spoke - and listened - to anyone. (I'm not a Christian) She even recommended my daughter as a 'trustworthy' person to clean the Bishop's house.
Caroline got upgraded (became a Canon) and left.
I used to pass the new vicar every morning, when he was walking his dog. I said 'good morning' first. He never replied.
In the 7ish years he's been here, he's spoken in my direction once.
My friend and I passed him outside the church - and he said 'good morning' to my FRIEND!!
Friend and I discussed this on our walk. Did the vicar not talk to me because I was female, or did he talk to my friend because he looks....Asian?
He's not, his grandmother was a Czech Roma, his grandfather from the New Forest (possibly another bit of Roma there), their daughter (his mother) married an Irishman, but he still looks Asian :-D

Please do not look on me as being a sceptic for I would find that very derogatory "Sceptic" is usually aimed by folk who cannot accept their own beliefs being challenged.

I would sooner have a mind opened by Wonder, than one closed by Belief.
