That's where the internet is wonderful!! I know a word, not quite the one I want, so look it up on a thesaurus, and usually find the right one.

Telephone conversations between my sister and I are a laugh.
'Well I've put the thingy's in the bathroom'
'Toilet rolls'
'No'
'Pictures'
'No, I've put them on the floor'
'TILES'
'Yes, I've stuck the tiles down now - they look nice'.

...and my sister had been tiling the bathroom floor all day!!!
It's just an age thing - we've acquired so many words over the years, and they b*gger off when you need them :-S

To be honest, the gin doesn't help :-D

Love your posts Dizzi. Its awful when you cant sleep and all your problems seem to come at once then .I have many nights like that. I do hope you are feeling a bit better now. You really don't know how much you make us all laugh, so are doing a wonderful thing even in your darkest times you come over funny. you must be one special lady. after my stroke I cannot all ways remember how to spell the words I want to use so I know a very little bit of how you feel

I can understand your posts fine so please keep posting as long as you can
