Click on 'account' on the top line.
In 'account details' which is then on the left of screen, select 'subscription'
Select 'auto renew off'

There have been a number of cases where members have thought they had switched auto renew off but have found it on when they checked.

It shouldn't be a problem as an email is sent about the renewal a few weeks before the critical date.

Some online service providers have fallen foul of trading standards and consumer protection codes of practice in respect of making things like subscription renewals automatically Opted In as opposed to making the default Opted Out and the practice of setting the default as automatically Opted In is frowned upon ;-)

This happened to me,but I went on to my subscrptions and put it on off and pressed save , just renewed when i recieved an e-mail. it happened last year when i was certain I had opted out, so was aware this year, but it does make me mad that they can alter it...

I'm on auto renewal. No problem, they always let me know a few weeks before my renewal date and I can cancel at that time if I choose. They never renew without notifying me first.

You have to keep checking that Auto Renewal On / Off in My Account

it seems that the default position is Auto Renewal On, and ti does seem to automatically revert to that position

If you want to be certain, then check your Account every month or two, and then every week when it is getting close to Renewal Time

In the meantime ......... they do say that they will notify you 4 weeks before renewal time. Last year, I got my first email re renewal 4 weeks before and then a second reminder closer to renewal date.

Are you sure that you did not get that email?

Check your Junk Mail, in case it was sent there by your server.

You might have a case for them to cancel your subscription and refund you the money

email them at

I didn't get an e-mail. Just notice RENEW in capital letters at the top of my page here a few days ago. My membership s supposed to roll over on 27th. I have now turned auto-renewal off as they want to charge me about double what I paid last year.
