Excuse me folks as I really do need to have a good old rant about how generous this government can be :-D

I keep getting told by my doctor, hospital consultants and others, that I should be getting help with travel costs to the hospital, spectacles, Asda dental treatment, and told you should apply for help, so I did but in doing so I forgot that I am not some layabout living off the state ;-) but someone who worked and paid my taxes and national insurance for neatly 55 year ;-)

I received the notification this morning of the help will give me :-| along with numerous pages of information, it seems that because I have an annual income of just under £12,000 I am deemed to have surplus funds to what the government says I need to live on :-S

They can stick their derisory offer of help and I am not going to say where :-D although I did think of wrapping all the sheets of paper round the insert of a toilet roll and sending it to a certain politician who maintains he wants to help and protract the sick, the disabled, and the vulnerable in our society :-D :-S :-D
