Hi all, I am very new to this and I am currently trying to collect information regarding all corners of my family tree. I seem to be hitting brick walls, when I find some information regarding an ancestor I use this to prompt a further search but more often than not I cannot find anything. |

Up to 1873, it wasnt compulsary to register a birth. Sometimes family couldn't afford it or assumed that a baptism would be sufficient. |
