In the 1960's OH had to give a talk to the other students on his course about public transport in the UK. We lived in London at the time, so he went and bought some of the posters that used to be on stations and in train carriages, to advertise their journeys. They cost 19/6 each. After the lecture we put the posters back in the cardboard tube in the attic. |
