Yes, so did my Grandson GinN because his birthday falls at the end of the school year-June.

GinN

GinN Report 17 Jun 2015 20:31

In fact .............. I think he took a couple when he was 14 :-S

Compilicated :-D ;-)

GinN

GinN Report 17 Jun 2015 20:23

My grandson has taken some of his this year - I think he's year 10. You're right, it is confusing :-D ;-)

JemimaFawr Report 17 Jun 2015 20:17

They do all their chosen subject GCSEs in year 10 now GinN. Then they have do do them all over again. Sometimes a few times in bits and pieces.

Nobody understands it fully, not even the school staff :-| :-| :-|

I's ridiculous.

For example. Grandson had B in History GCSE last year. But the History teacher said that that could change with year 11 results! :-S :-S :-S

So I don't know whether they average it out, or if year 11 results replace year 10s!

GinN

GinN Report 17 Jun 2015 20:12

Good for her! :-D

It's funny how they take a lot of their GCSE's at a younger age - we just took them at 16 in one fell swoop - though that was the old GCE's :-D ;-)

I am proud of her<3, because she is badly dyslexic (she has had all the tests) and yet works very hard.

Granddaughter 1 is also doing her GSCEs. Her year 10 ones.

She has a 10 hour Art Exam looming! It's obviously going to be split up.
She is a good artist though :-)
