It was very warm early doors here in my corner of Kent :-) and as it was getting hotter by the minute:-( I decided to get on my mobility scooter and pop along to my local town centre ;-) as I wanted to get all my shopping done and be back home in the shade before it became too hot outdoors for me ;-)

Lovely peaceful day without the Darlinks to ferry back and forth, washing done beds changed and a general tidy up and that's me done for the day....and I sorted some stuff ready for hols :-D :-D

I just tend to stay indoors this weather, Footie, with the French doors wide open. The sun doesn't come round to the living room until nearly tea time, so it's quite pleasant. Hope your room is quite cool, too.

Hi Gin....yes she did apart from the chips..she says they are not the type she likes :-0

My peace is shattered OH has got the mower out :-| :-|

:-D :-D :-D I thought that chips were the one thing all kids would eat!

I have horrible memories of my first school dinner! :-0

Being forced to eat horrible vegetables and fatty meat. Ended in a crying match :-0 :-|

The only veg I like are carrots and frozen peas :-D :-D

I can remember sitting at our table when I was about 6 and my dad insisting I finish my sprouts..we used to joke that it was his fault that I turned out to be a veg hater :-D

P&P eat every veg and fruit going practically...which is a good thing in these days of fast food etc.
