I am never happier than when I am surrounded by small children, although I don't think I will ever manage to have 30 grandchildren to make up for a class full !!!!

You will wonder how you ever found time to go out to work ..

I have to have a planning calendar in the kitchen to mark up all the things and appointments we have to do every week.

How lovely to celebrate your retirement in such a special way, and to have had such a send off shows how appreciated you were at school, it's really nice.

Great that you have new little ones to look forward to, hope all goes well and you enjoy every minute of your new way of life.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes.

Little one is certainly a fidget, Grandad is going to have his work cut out with him and his sister !!! He makes such a good climbing frame !!

By all accounts his cousin, due a month before him, is a wiggle bum too.

Grandad needs three hands not two........

They will carry on keeping him busy in his retirement, I am going to spend mine reading stories and playing dollies and colouring and bath time.
