Nobody has mentioned it locally but I have just seen in the paper that we have a huge school, some hundred or more, of starry smoothound sharks in the Medmerry lagoon. |

I remember very well catching crabs in the Mersey basin many moons ago. I threw them back of course. |

It is quite safe to wade about where they are, unless you are a crustacean. |
