I have one of OH's Emma says he was born between 1825 and 1827 West Bromwich :-S i know he married in 1845 :-D and i know where he was from 1851 until he died in 1893 :-)

It's so frustrating Fly :-|

He didn't marry, had kids, never a mention of
where he was born or who his parents were,
I know he died in Aberdeen, he was my great grandfather
and I can't go further on his side....arrrrrgggghhhh :-D

Been to collect a load of books from a lady who is donating them to our Village Fete bookstall next weekend (being manned by yours truly!). There were masses of the things, stored in a big old wardrobe in her garage :-0

I've left them in the Village Hall, as there were far to many to bring home :-0

I can't find him born anywhere in Britain, our BMD here in Aberdeen
have no record of where born or married, I have death cert but nothing
on it regarding parents. :-)
