Mine's up for renewal soon. I was not going to renew it but as it's less per month than I spend on coffees and lunches with friends in a week and, as my OH reminds me that he uses it as much as I use his Ancestry site, I think it's worth it.

In addition, I've had a lot of assistance from a lot of people on Genes - much more than from those on Ancestry.

Genes people are kinder and more helpful, I think. All in all, well worth the yearly sub to the site.
